February 15, 2017 — The Urban Freight Lab was announced as a finalist for the 2017 Sustainability Leadership Award for Resilience: Effective Action Addressing Climate Change Vulnerability by Sustainable Seattle.
Started in the early ’90s, the Sustainability Leadership Awards recognize the accomplishments of individuals, organizations, and businesses that are helping make the Puget Sound region more sustainable, resilient, and equitable.
About the Urban Freight Lab (UFL): An innovative public-private partnership housed at the Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics Center at the University of Washington, the Urban Freight Lab is a structured workgroup that brings together private industry with City transportation officials to design and test solutions around urban freight management.
